Candy World browser extension

Candy World (formerly Candy Wallet) for Firefox and Chrome is published by the CandyChain team. It is the same wallet as this website, in your browser: open it with your password, stake, swap, and connect CandyChain apps.

How to tell it is ours

• Its add-on ID is [email protected], and the publisher is CandyChain.
• Firefox: Mozilla Add-ons, under review. Chrome: Chrome Web Store, coming soon. We will link both stores here once they are live.
• It talks only to candychain.io: the Candy World service (wallet-api.candychain.io) and CandyChain itself.

Your 12 words stay with you

The extension keeps your recovery phrase in your browser, encrypted under your password, and never sends it anywhere — not to us, not to any website. Candy will never ask for your 12 words by email, chat or on another site. Anything that does is a scam.

Every Candy World wallet is a smart contract that needs two approvals, so not even the Candy World service can move your funds on its own. What the extension keeps and sends is set out in the privacy policy.
