Delete your Candy World account

You can delete your Candy World account at any time, yourself, in a minute.

In the app

Open Candy World → Settings → Delete account, type DELETE and confirm with Face ID or your phone’s lock. It deletes every account made from your 12 words, and removes your words and keys from the phone.

In the web wallet or the browser extension

Open your wallet → Overview → Account → Delete, type DELETE and confirm.

What is deleted, and what is not

• Deleted: your account with the Candy World service — your wallet’s record, activity history, approval requests, devices and notification settings, and your authenticator.
• Not deleted, because it cannot be: your wallet itself, which lives on CandyChain, and everything in it. Anyone with your 12 words can still reach it. Transactions already on CandyChain are public and permanent, as on any blockchain.
• Kept: records of CANDY you bought, as payment records Candy World may be required to keep, and hourly request counts per IP address, kept for 30 days to stop abuse.

If you can’t open the app any more

Email [email protected] from any address, with your wallet address. We will ask you to prove it is yours by signing a short message with your wallet — never send anyone your 12 words; Candy World will never ask for them. We delete the account within 30 days and tell you when it is done.
